Rock Garden

The garden is known as sculpture garden and Nek Chand Rock Garden. Nek Chand was founder of the garden around. He was former government worker, started cultivation when he was hidden around 18 years till 1975. He found several features for knowing how can he makes a very attractive garden with use of garbage, domestics and rocks that is near the Sukhna Lakes. Most relevant feature of it, that everything is made-up by using garbage. The sculptures are dancing girls, animals, culture of Haryana and Punjab.

Rose Garden is known as Zakir Hussain Rose Garden on around 30 acres with 1600 different type of roses. The name was given in 1967 when Indian President was Dr. Zakir Hussain and the largest botanical garden on Asia continent. In the garden, you can find several types of medical herbs and the garden, love spot points in the city at evening time many couple visits here.

Sukhna Lake

Sukhna Lake is at the foothills of the Himalayas that were created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe. The water in the lake is only stored by rainfall. The lake destine was created by the P L Verma. The lake is very famous for the booting. It has been declared as a protected national wetland by the Indian Government. The summer session is very attractive here and specially in raining time. Many festivals celebrate on the bank of lake and very attractive festival is MANGO FESTIVAL.
