Nubra valley is also known as Ldumra (The Valley of Flower) and situated at Leh in Ladakh district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a tri-armed valley located at an altitude approximately 10,000 feet above the sea level. Khardung La is the main gateway of Nubra valley and Shyok Vally. It is one of the highest motorable Pass in India. The Khardung La pass is about 40 kilometer away from Leh town. The motorable pass is at an altitude 18380 ft above the sea level.
Turtuk provides the beautiful scenic view of Shyok Valley. It is opened in 2009 for tourists. The place was under control of Pakistan before Indo-Pak war in 1971. Hunder is the about 75 km away from Turtuk and between the way you will view many amazing scenic.
Panamik is the last village which accessible for tourist. The village is mainly famous for two things - 250 year old Ensa Gompa and Hot Water Springs. The monastery is situated on the top of Hill and overlooks the snow capped mountains of the Nubra Valley.
